Overview
The wheel of a bridge crane is an important part of the crane. It is mainly used to support the bridge crane and the load, and to make the crane reciprocate on the track. The material, size and performance of the wheel have an important impact on the operating stability and service life of the crane.

The material of the bridge crane wheel is generally ZG340-640 or 55# cast steel, with a surface hardness of HB300-350 and a quenching depth of not less than 20mm. In order to improve the wear resistance and impact resistance of the wheel, the wheel tread will be subjected to surface heat treatment, and the hardness layer will be not less than 260HB at a depth of 20mm or more. In addition, the commonly used materials for the wheel axle are 45 and 40Cr.

Weihua bridge crane wheels come in various sizes and types, and the most common ones are double-rim wheels (code SL) and single-rim wheels (code DL). Double-rim wheels are widely used in the walking mechanism of bridge gantry cranes because of their rim height of 25mm to 30mm, while single-rim wheels are often used for crane trolley walking wheels with a diameter of less than 500mm.
