Gantry Crane Wheels are the core walking parts of gantry cranes, mainly used to support the overall weight of the crane and ensure the smooth operation of the equipment along the rail. Made of high-strength alloy materials, this product has excellent load capacity, wear resistance and impact resistance, and is widely used in ports, yards, railway freight yards and heavy industries.
Product Type and Structure
Classification by Flanged Wheels
Double-Flanged Wheels: Flanges on both sides to prevent derailment, suitable for high-speed or heavy-load conditions.
Single-Flanged Wheels: Flanges on one side, often used in situations with small track spacing or light loads.
Rimless Wheels: Need to be used with horizontal guide wheels, mostly used for special track designs.
Classification by material
Cast steel wheels (such as ZG340-640): high strength, wear resistance, suitable for heavy load and impact conditions.
Alloy steel wheels (such as 42CrMo): high hardness after heat treatment and strong fatigue resistance.
Forged steel wheels: dense internal structure, better load-bearing capacity than cast steel, used for extreme loads.
Nylon/polyurethane wheels: lightweight, low noise, suitable for indoor or high track protection requirements.
