Gantry Ladle Hook with spreader is a lifting equipment specially used in the metallurgical industry (such as steel mills and foundries), mainly used for lifting, tipping and pouring operations of high-temperature ladles. It combines the stability of the gantry (portal structure) with the flexibility of the special hook sling, and can safely and efficiently handle high-temperature molten metal.

Equipment composition and structural features
(1) Gantry (portal structure)
Main frame: welded from steel or box beams, with high strength and deformation resistance.
Legs and tracks: support the entire structure, which can be fixed or moved along the ground track by an electric trolley (mobile gantry crane).
Beam: install the lifting trolley and sling, and the span is designed according to the size of the ladle and the process requirements.

(2) Special ladle hook sling
Hook group: forged with high-temperature resistant alloy steel, usually with a double or four-hook symmetrical design to ensure the balance of the ladle.
Lifting beam: connects the hook to the lifting mechanism, with a swivel function to achieve ladle tipping (manual or electric drive).
Thermal insulation:
The hook and beam are covered with refractory materials or equipped with insulation boards.
The wire rope or chain is equipped with a high temperature resistant sheath (such as ceramic fiber).

Efficient and safe ladle handling and tipping
Designed specifically for the metallurgical industry, with integrated hooks and spreaders (Spreader), it can quickly adapt to ladles of different specifications to achieve stable lifting. Equipped with electric or hydraulic tipping mechanism, it can accurately control the angle of the ladle (±1°) to meet the process requirements of continuous casting, pouring, etc. and reduce metal splashing.
High temperature resistance
The hook and spreader are made of high-strength heat-resistant alloy steel (such as 25Cr2MoV) and covered with insulation board or water-cooled structure to withstand radiant heat above 1200℃.
High stability and load capacity
The gantry structure provides wide span support and resists lateral shaking, which is suitable for lifting heavy ladles (32~500 tons).
Long service life design
The wire rope/chain is equipped with ceramic fiber sheath, and key components (such as bearings) use high-temperature grease, which significantly extends the maintenance cycle.
